On The Grand Park & Pavilion is the premier event and performing arts venue where residents of Tri-Cities and surrounding areas can congregate and enjoy world class productions in a casual, open park setting. It is situated on the iconic 170 acre Bingemans property.
Private Rentals
On The Grand is available to all promoters for events, community groups and corporate event planners for a multitude of uses, certainly not limited to uses such as picnics, event opening and closing ceremonies, festivals of all types and any other large scale use you can think of. With over 25 acres of naturally cascading event space along the Grand river, We offer groups of all sizes from 200 – 30,000+ great options for unique memorable events.
Restaurants/Dining
Immediately beside our event site is home to north America’s largest Boston Pizza which is also incorporated with Kingpin Bowlounge. Park once in your planned parking area or get dropped off at this fantastic site, and it is a short walk to On The Grand afterwards, or even visit after your event. With the largest outdoor patio in the Region we have ample space for you to sit back and enjoy.
Bar and Food Service
We are proud to offer all events at On The Grand a wide variety of food and beverage offerings to make each concert experience as unique as it’s guests. Fan favorites include a line-up of The Region’s most popular food trucks: Lobster Limo, Gastro Grub, the world’s only Boston Pizza Food Truck as well as many more; featured BBQ stations with all the usual suspects like grilled burgers, sausage, pulled pork and brisket features; and of course, a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to conveniently access throughout the venue.
Onsite Camping
On The Grand is located at the Bingemans Entertainment complex, which conveniently is also home to Bingemans Camping Resort. Enjoy the ultimate convenience of camping in one of Bingemans picturesque sites, cabins or new container cabins and being able to take a short walk to the On The Grand venue without having to worry about any transportation.

General Facility Rules
There is no re-entry. Once you have exited the venue, you cannot re-enter.
Please note that at the entrance, all bags will be searched. At certain performances, the staff of the venue reserves the right to conduct a summary search. Any spectator who does not collaborate in the search will be refused entry to the event without a refund.
The management reserves the right to expel any spectator whose conduct is not respectful, dangerous or would hinder the smooth running of the event, without a refund. Please note that once you leave the venue site, you cannot go back inside.

It is strictly forbidden to bring a professional camera (with a detachable and/or more than 2-inch lens) to the venue. A camera that respect the lens sizes are allowed. Photos taken via a mobile phone are allowed. Please note that in all cases, the use of flash is prohibited.
Bells, horns or any object or device emitting noise
Drones or similar devices
Weapons and bladed weapons or any other object identified as hazardous or harmful by security personnel.
We do not have any place to store items. Anyone with any of the items listed above will therefore be denied access to the venue and may even confiscate items identified as hazardous or harmful to spectators and employees. In any case, no object will be recoverable.

Parking
General parking for show events is generally not permitted at Bingemans site. We do have some limited paid parking options for those that require it. We do have handicapped accessible parking that is available, please email us for details and to secure a space.
Paid parking availability is provided per show and your ability to purchase the paid spot is via the ticketing system when you click on the “Buy Ticket” link. During this process you will need to print off your pass or save it to your smartphone device as access to the parking area will be provided after scanning/verifying your pass on site.
We highly recommend utilizing the public transit system, local taxi agencies or Uber and other ride share options to assist you.
Please note that the Boston Pizza/Kingpin, FunworX and other Bingemans halls parking areas are for the sole use of the guests of these facilities and are security staffed for such purpose.

BUS
Grand River Transit (GRT): Is the public transport operator for the Region of Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. It operates daily bus services in the region, primarily in the cities of Kitchener, Waterloo, and Cambridge. The iXpress bus rapid transit operated by GRT consists of three routes along main corridors in Kitchener-Waterloo and Cambridge. The older route, Route 200 runs from Conestoga Mall in Waterloo and Ainslie Street Terminal in Cambridge primarily along King Street in Kitchener and Waterloo and Hespeler Road in Cambridge. The second route, route 201, runs from Forest Glen Terminal in Kitchener to Conestoga Mall in Waterloo, primarily along Fischer-Hallman Road in both cities. The third, route 202, runs in a crosstown fashion through Waterloo, primarily along University Avenue, between the Boardwalk shopping centre and Conestoga Mall.

Is Onsite Parking Available?
All onsite parking is paid. During your ticket purchase process there will be a prompt for adding a parking pass if you would like.
As parking is limited onsite we highly recommend alternative transportation modes such as Taxi, Uber and Grand River Transit.

Can I smoke in the venue?
Unfortuantelty there is no smoking permitted in any public area of the venue.
What time can we enter the venue?
Gates typically open one hour prior to show time. All food and beverage vendors will be open at this time.
Do you have a Lost and Found?
Yes, there is a lost and found kiosk on site. After the show any lost and found inquires should be emailed to lostandfound@onthegrand. com
Can I leave and come back into the venue?
There are on in and out privledges at any time.
Do you have any special provisions for ADA patrons?

Will the show be cancelled if it rains?
All On the Grand Shows are ‘Rain or Shine’ events. Only weather conditions that pose a threat (lightning, high winds) will cause a show to be cancelled.
Are pets allowed into the venue?
Pets or other animals are not allowed. Certified service animals are permitted and admitted into the venue. Each service animal must remain with its owner and be restrained

On the Grand is conveniently located next to Bingemans Camping Resort.

How should I dress for an event at On the Grand?
On the Grand concert-goers dress casual and cool. Be prepared for all weather conditions, including full exposure to the sun, strong wind and even severe rain. There is limited shade or covering in the venue, so you may be fully exposed to the sun or adverse weather conditions. It is always wise to dress in layers, have a poncho on hand and to wear sunscreen. Wear comfortable walking shoes, as routes from parking lots to the gates may be lengthy in distance, dependent on what time you arrive.
Can I bring prescription medication into the venue during an event?
In order to provide a safe and comfortable environment for concertgoers, there are policies and procedures in place at OTG to restrict drugs of all types from entering the venue as well as their use, distribution and sale. However, the following procedures are in place to accomodate patrons requiring the legitimate use of prescription medications while attending an event:
Patrons should only bring the quantity of medication needed for the duration of the show; please leave excess medication at home or in your vehicle.
Prescription medication must be in the original prescription container with the patient’s name and dosage listed on the label.
At entrances, venue security staff will verify the medication and name on the label match the actual medication and patron’s identification.
Patrons with more medication than is necessary for the duration of the show will be asked to return the excess to their vehicle. In instances where this is not possible, the medication will be stored with security staff in the boxoffice at the front entrance or disposed."
